Pierre Post 8 cruises past Renner Post 307, 7-1

Renner Post 307 had a tire blow out on the bus in route to Pierre which delayed the start of the game by a half an hour.

Unfortunately for Renner it was not their only blow out of the day on Tuesday, when Pierre Post eight cruised to a blowout 7-1 win at Hyde Stadium.

Pierre Post eight scored three runs in the sixth on Pierre Post eight scored in the sixth on an RBI double by Bo Atkins, a steal of home by Bo, and a groundout by Cash Anderson.


Bo went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for Pierre Post eight.


 Alec Norwick shut down Renner Post 307 while he was on the bump. Alec held Renner Post 307 hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two.


Charly Mahaffey took the loss for Renner Post 307. He lasted just 4 1/3 innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed two runs.

Pierre Post eight went up for good in the fifth, scoring two runs on an RBI double by Blake Dean and an RBI single by Graham Protexter.
